What is a spot ether ETP?

Spot ether ETPs are the first exchange-traded products that track the price of ether by holding actual ether (i.e.,"spot") as their underlying asset.
Supporters believe they can make it easier to invest in ether for those unfamiliar with crypto cybersecurity best practices.
Note that the ETPs don't give investors ownership of actual ether, and come with unique trading and investment risks.
