Lion’s Tail
You’re new favorite take on the whiskey sour! Debuted in the 1930's, the Lion’s Tail is a classic mixture of bourbon and citrus, albeit with lime rather than lemon, with a surprise addition of pimento dram, an allspice based liquor.
What you’ll need to make the Lion’s Tail:
- Bourbon
- Allspice or Pimento Dram
- Simple or Gomme Syrup
- Lime Juice
- Angostura or Other Aromatic Bitter
Cranberry Sauced
An original, seasonal cocktail, the Cranberry Sauced is Nat’s holiday version of a classic Gin & Juice, featuring the tart flavor of cranberries.
What you’ll need for the Cranberry Sauced:
- London Dry Gin
- Unsweetened Cranberry Juice
- Simple Syrup
- Lime Juice
- Rosemary (for garnish)
- Seltzer or Soda Water
Nat Harry is a cocktail and spirits professional with 15 years of experience in the beverage industry, including specialty coffee. They spent the last four years curating the spirits portfolio at Cask stores, including selecting many of the shop’s single barrels and agave club offerings.
A career bartender, fell in love with artisan spirits while running a farm to table bar program at Berkeley’s Revival Bar & Kitchen, and has received accolades including the East Bay Express award for Best Bartender in the East Bay. Nat received Seven Fifty Daily’s San Francisco Rising Star award in 2019 and was a judge at this year’s SF World Spirits Competition.
